Plastic Pipe Associates Inc: Turkey Point Nuclear Generating Station (June 2025)
Plastic Pipe Associates Inc. recently completed an HDPE installation at Florida Power & Light’s Turkey Point Nuclear Generating Station in Homestead, Florida. Joe Paul and Kyle installed a 28" x 3" large-diameter electrofusion saddle and a 30" large-diameter electrofusion coupling during a scheduled outage, working alongside Environmental Performance Systems. The project was supplied by Fortiline Waterworks (Kissimmee, FL) and coordinated with Daniela Zuleta. Equipment used included a re-rounding tool and our 240V Strongbridge electrofusion processor.
